Guy Chanda is a Broker who specializes in residential, commercial real estate sales and leasing.
Guy grew up in the Cupertino, California as the youngest of 7 children. He is an avid soccer player, cyclist and hiker.
After finishing his B.S. Finance at San Diego State University he worked for a Fortune 200 company before leaving for Spain where he worked with Multinational companies preparing their seminars for the United States. During this time he was able to finish his Masters in Intentional Commerce at ISEAD of Spain. While living in Spain he met his lovely wife and after many years abroad they decided to move to Aptos, California, accepting a job offer to teach mathematics at Willow Glen High School in San Jose. After obtaining his Single Subject Credential at San Jose State University Guy taught Math for over 10 years.
Clients choose to work with Guy for his full-service nature, his ethics, communication skills, experience, expertise and knowledge. Guy has been very successful with understanding his buyer's or seller's needs and always gives straight-forward advice for the most informed decisions.
Guy and his wife Jamile of Spain have lived in Aptos since 1998 where they currently reside with their two daughters.
After 17 years as a real estate agent and broker Guy partnered with colleague Darryl Kenyon, who shares his ethical philosophy to always ensure clients are receiving the best advice for their dream decision.

A Realtor who has resided in Carmel Valley for 17 years, and on the Monterey Peninsula for 36 years, Darryl has specialized knowledge of the Central coast, having closed many Residential sales, land sales and Commercial leasing and Sale transactions.
Darryl attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo from 1976 to 1980, earning his degree in Graphic Communications/Marketing. During this time he invested in , made improvements to and leased a home in San Luis Obispo.
Following graduation, Darryl worked in the Graphics Industry in San Francisco. In the fall of 1982, he found the opportunity to buy a small printing Company on the Monterey Peninsula, which he grew and moved to Ryan Ranch; and specialized in Agricultural, Education and Hospitality Marketing products. After building a 13,000 square foot Multi-Tenant building in Ryan Ranch, he sold the Company in 2004 to pursue a career in Real Estate.
In 2005 Darryl went to work for A.G. Davi, Ltd., in Monterey, specializing in Commercial Real Estate Transactions. A.G. Davi Ltd. merged it’s Brokerage with Coldwell Banker Del Monte Real Estate in 2007, where he remained until August 2012, and transitioned into Residential Real Estate.
After 5 years at Coldwell Banker, Darryl went to work with Bill Probasco at Mid Coast Investments, a small family-owned firm out of Carmel-by-the-Sea. In June of 2018, Darryl partnered with fellow Realtor, Broker and friend Guy Chanda and formed Mid Coast Realty.
Darryl is married to Geri Kenyon, a Physician Liaison and 30-year employee at Community Hospital. We have three grown children; Colin, Manager for Real Estate Finance at Levi Strauss & Co. in San Francisco; Alissa, a wholesale Salesperson at Steinbeck County Produce in Salinas, now living in Carmel Valley with her new husband Mickey ‘the Stick’ Mahoney; and Natalie, a Marketing professional also living and working in San Francisco.
Darryl is the past President of the Monterey Commercial Property Owners Association, a past Board Member of the Rotary Club of Monterey, a past Board member of the Monterey Academy of Oceanographic Science, a past Board Member of the Carmel Community Girls Softball League and a member of the Carmel Foundation.
Darryl’s leisure-time activities include golf, watercolor painting and cycling, and he is an active member at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Carmel Valley, and the Commonwealth Club of San Francisco.
